Elizabeth McCready is a Toronto-based communications strategist and digital content creator with a professional background spanning education, communications, events, and civic engagement. A life-long learner, she went back to school at the University of Toronto full-time for two semesters in January, 2025. She completed her project management certificate at The University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies in August, 2024, with a 94% average and has kept her advanced marketing certificate average above 90%. In September, 2025 Elizabeth is continuing on with one course a term, running her new podcast—Curb Cuts and Conversations, and seeking a position in marketing in the urban development, transit, and civic government sectors. Elizabeth brings a strategic, human-centered approach to storytelling, audience engagement, and brand communication.
With over 15,000 volunteer hours, she is deeply embedded in the civic life of Toronto, contributing to organizations such as the Royal Ontario Museum and the City of Toronto Cultural Events Team. As the creator and host of the Curb Cuts and Conversations podcast, she uses video, blog, and podcast platforms to spotlight accessibility, urbanism, and transit through a lived experience lens.
Elizabeth combines her expertise in digital strategy, accessibility, and stakeholder engagement with her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in urban planning to support inclusive city-building. Her values: connection, universal design, and kindness—are at the heart of her communications work.
