Elizabeth McCready is a Toronto-based project manager and communications professional with experience across accessibility, marketing and communications, governance, and public-facing work. Her background spans education, civic institutions, digital strategy, and stakeholder engagement, with a consistent focus on translating complex ideas into clear, actionable outcomes.
She completed a Project Management Certificate at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies with a 94% average, including 100% in risk management, and is currently completing an advanced certificate in marketing and communications. Her academic background also includes undergraduate and postgraduate studies in urban planning, urban geography, and information and computer sciences, supporting a strong understanding of systems, user experience, and public-sector contexts.
With 15,000+ hours of volunteer leadership, Elizabeth has held concurrent Board roles, collaborated closely with finance leadership on governance and funding sustainability, and contributed to more than $250,000 in secured funding, including a $100,000 Ontario Trillium Foundation grant. She continues to volunteer with organizations such as the Royal Ontario Museum and the City of Toronto Cultural Events Team, contributing in high-volume, public-facing environments.
Elizabeth is also the creator and host of Curb Cuts & Conversations, a video podcast focused on accessibility, urbanism, and transportation. Through podcasting, writing, and social media, she applies marketing and communications principles to audience engagement, accessibility-informed storytelling, and stakeholder dialogue.
